My name is Leanne, and I set up Data: Defined because of my passion for supporting schools to maximise the efficiency of their systems, reduce teacher workload, and ultimately, drive positive student outcomes. I understand the challenges that educational institutions face, and I am committed to making a meaningful difference in this field.

 

A little about me: I am not only an advocate for improving the education sector, but I also have a personal connection to it. As a parent of two small children, I am keenly aware of the importance of a robust and efficient educational system in shaping our future generations. My dedication to this cause extends to my family life, as I am married to a dedicated teacher who is equally passionate about providing quality education. This dynamic has given me a unique perspective on the challenges faced by teachers and schools in their quest for excellence.

 

Furthermore, I have a background as a former Data Manager, Senior Leader & school governor, which has provided me with insights into the inner workings of educational institutions. I have seen firsthand the intricacies of decision-making, resource allocation, and the diverse needs of the school community. Through this experience, I have gained a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges that schools encounter on a daily basis.
